The Way of St. James
The Way of St. James, known in Spanish as “El camino de Santiago”, is a transforming experience, a journey full of history, spirituality and natural beauty. Wonderful landscapes follow one after another, leaving an indelible mark. It has been and is an intangible route for the communication of universal ideas.
The Coastal Route runs along the Atlantic coast to the end of the Vigo estuary, where it joins the traditional Portuguese Route. The coastal route, from A Guarda to Redondela, offers spectacular landscapes of beaches, cliffs, forests and river paths.
